Waiting in Denver
I sat in front of this window watching the sun go down. I also read a book, tried to nap, nibbled on snacks, then repeated the process until boarding time.
I was so fortunate to be upgraded to this beautiful, very comfortable, well oiled machine.
High-end amenities and gorgeous suite, lobby and pool area. Def recommended! I call four stars. I'd call five but the outside key card wasn't working in the side entry door. :)
Silent. Humid. New. I was in a moment that brought all of my senses back to life again, even at midnight.
A BED...after the day I had.
Ever since my CAli trip back in 2004, I've had a thing for palm trees, and maybe it's because I know it automatically means I'm in warm weather territory (which I love)!
The Welcoming Committee
As I drove towards the freeway past these trees, it was like they were all waving "Hello" and "Welcome"!
Red Rock Photo
This would be the first of many red cliffs I'd shoot pictures of.
The grounds are beautiful with views of the hills.
I liked the way the edifices were set up. I trimmed this photo but at first the blue streak on the bottom right went all the way to the ground. I didn't think it might be my FIRST vortex photo.
This was a nice room and cozy but faced the parking lot and a public BBQ grill on the corner. Later I switched to room 9 in building 19 on the second floor.
I examined these closely and with the curiosity of a child. I love new things especially when it has to do with Nature, Science or Space.
I was intrigued by the juxtaposition of colors and shapes of the rocks, not being used to seeing as much red at a time on the ground!
I went out to a Thai restaurant and was highly impressed with the meal, service and casual atmosphere.
I shot this outside the restaurant. The light against this particular peak against the blue sky is the EXACT scene I saw in a vivid dream I woke from almost 9 months before.
Tree Frogs N' Crickets
One of the things I loved most about the new room near a thick of trees, was hearing the tree critters singing in the humid night air until I fell asleep. :)
